“ As a native Nashvillian visiting, hubby and I found this restaurant and I can definitely say I’d double the star 5 rating. The food, atmosphere, friendliness and passion for food. You’ve got to try EVERYTHING!! We had their awesome turkey sandwich, Gouda burger, fries, banana pudding and even some of their world renowned bread pudding and all we said afterwards was we’re stuffed! Please forgive us but we can’t recall the names of the beautiful, professionals that served us and if i could make any recommendations for improvement...MOVE TO NASHVILLE ASAP!! ”
“ Our first time going last Friday! First off- it was packed!! We were worried we'd wait a while, but we were only in line for roughly 20 minutes (if that!) and this included choosing our food and checking out! The team members were so happy and sweet, and the owner was out talking to all the customers in line. I kept hearing "tell me something good!" With the biggest smile. You can tell they truly love their job. The food was delicious. I got the brisket and ribs plate with green beans and red beans and rice. AMAZING. Husband got the brisket nachos and he said it was absolutely delightful. They were cleaning up constantly and the atmosphere was truly incredible. We even got a discount card for our next visit since it was our first time! I HIGHLY recommend you give this place a visit, it's worth every penny for quality and experience!!! We will be back!!! ”
“ Fantastic BBQ with awesome sides. Don’t know how we haven’t been here before but can’t wait to come back again. Mac and Cheese was amazing. Even the pickles were homemade. Chicken quarter and brisket were tasty. Specialty sodas and lemonade available. Service was friendly and prompt. Oh! The corn was delish as well. More to try next visit. Don’t be put off by parking - there’s more in the back. ”

“ Absolutely incredible barbecue. We sat and ate and had no idea Paul himself was one table over talking to another group of patrons about how he smokes his meat and why he does it so. I could definitely tell, the longer I ate and listened, the flavor was well earned and after speaking with Paul myself as we got uo to leave, the service and atmosphere is second to NONE in Lake Charles. You will not find a friendlier, more down-to-earth establishment owner within a 50 mile radius. Kudos to him and his business. Don't hesitate to visit for a meal! ”
